I just finished watching a Korean VCD series.. named 'mei hao de ren sheng' (Wonderful Life).. it is really a gd drama.. how to say? It is similiar to 'xin niang 18 sui'.. cos it focuses quite a lot on family ties.. and again.. the plot is abt contact marriage.. y does Koreans like contact marriages so much?? but luckily.. till now, I am still not tired of the plot yet.. there's a little girl in the show.. very cute and adorable..
the reasons I like the show.. acting skills of the cast are not bad.. btw, jin zai yuan is the male lead.. yes, the one who also acted the rich guy in the'romance of the red bean girl'..I have not heard of the female lead.. but she is pretty.. typical Korean look.. and plot is quite fully developed.. compared to Full House.. Full House seems to be a hasty piece of work.. except that it got a strong cast...
yup..then, there has been a spate of unexpected turns of events.. took me by surprise.. so that's nice.. cos nowadays, we can guess what's going to happen next in the shows..
and there's are a few touching and sad scenes.. almost made me cry.. I seldom cry when watching dramas de.. so this show is not bad le..lol.. and what I find extremely touching is that when the daughter of the leads is diagnosed with leukemia, her uncle and auntie cried badly and offered a lot of support to the family.. I mean the couple had children on their own.. but they dote on their niece too.. that's so nice lah.. there are parents who only cared abt their own children's well being and does not care about other children..
that's all..haaz.. so peeps, for more details, watch it.. btw, I bought the China version at the Poh Kim sale and it is real cheap.. 16 VCDs for 8 bucks.. wah!! haaz..
