The saying goes.. what is most impt is the process and not the results.. I believe in this saying.. however, given Man's character, even if we believe in the saying, we will never be willing to accept this theory completely..

Yes, no doubt that winning the competition alone does not necessarily mean u r the true winner.. however, if we dun win, we are always so unwilling to accept defeat.. Our utmost concern will be the actual status we gained as a result of the competition.. Being 2nd doesn't mean tat u aren't the best.. and although getting first may not necessarily mean u r the best, but ironically it is also a form of slient confirmation that u r the best.. while the others can only be behind u..

Sometimes, I wonder.. I noe results aren't the best gauge of our capability.. but yet it can sucessfully demoralise us.. making us believe that we are actually inferior.. what a joke.. At the end of the day, if u see it frm a bigger pic, the true winner is one who picks himself up frm failure and head towards the path of success.. He/she will then win both results and character..
